Stores Person - late shift - 3.15pm - 11.15pm
Our client is world renowned manufacturer of next generation fibre and optic products which are utilised within semiconductor applications and medical diagnostic devices, they utilise highly sophisticated laser production techniques in order to meet growing demand from their global customer base.
They are currently in a phase of rapid growth and expansion from both a people perspective and capital expenditure in their Hamble based facility.

They are looking to hire a Stores Person on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to undertake activities within the Stores and Goods In/Out function to manage receipt, control, storage and movement of materials within the business in compliance with established procedures. This role is working the late shift between the hours of 15:15-23:15.
Role Responsibilities
Stock control - Goods In & Stores
To ensure stock record accuracy is maintained (quantity and location)
To ensure that materials are stored and handled safely and reliably
To ensure timely replenishment of the two bin storage system
To ensure timely delivery of materials to point of use as required
To receive materials delivered to goods inwards from couriers
To raise GRN's
To pass received materials to goods in inspection
Cleaning activities within the work area as required
To book materials in to stock and out of stores
To conduct kitting of work orders as per the schedule
To facilitate stores enquiries and requests
To ensure receipt of chemicals in line with established H&S / COSHH requirements
To ensure all Goods In activities adhere to established Export and Compliance requirements
Shipping - Goods Out
To ensure shipping accuracy is maintained for each individual customer shipment
To ensure each shipment is packed accurately and efficiently in order to meet set collection times
To ensure communication lines between all the relevant departments is clear and effective
To be flexible in adjusting to customer requirements as and when required
To maintain Quality control of all labelling and box requirements
To ensure all couriers can effectively collect shipments each day
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in a stores role
Diligence and attention to detail
Knowledge of Database systems
Basic computer skills - Outlook, Excel etc.
Numeracy and accuracy skills
Good communication skills
Flexibility and resourcefulness, ability to adapt
Non-smoker
Desirable Requirements
Formal qualification in related role
Export & Compliance experience
Shipping / Dispatch experience
This is a full time, permanent position for someone who is happy to work the late shift between 15:15-23:15.

The day shift offers above market rate salaries and the late shift comes with an 18% uplift.
