We are currently working with a organisation based in the Winchester area who is looking for a Technical Project Manager. This is a 9 month contract with potential to turn into a longer contract. A day rate of \u00A3397, inside IR35.

Your new role
You will successfully manage and deliver a Data Centre Network refresh and consolidation at two locations between August 2021 and March 2022.
The Data Centre Network Refresh is a major piece of work being undertaken by the Infrastructure Operations team. The management of this project will require detailed planning and tracking, stakeholder engagement, risk & issue management, communication, and monitoring of costs.
To successfully manage and deliver a Data Centre Network refresh and consolidation at two locations between August 2021 and March 2022.

What you'll need to succeed
Extensive experience in a professional IT environment. The ideal post holder will have experience in project managing data centre moves, with an understanding of network and servers. An understanding of power and cooling supplies is not a requirement for this role.

* Competence in managing others, including development and motivation
* Strong competence in financial management
* Significant skills and experience in project management
* Effective communication skills at all levels, including oral, written, presentation, briefing and influencing others
* Experienced in the preparation of reports for senior management
* Able to establish effective working relationships with people at all levels
* Creative and innovative and able to apply this to produce business relevant solutions
