Learning Support AssistantLevel 1 - £14,748 - £15,396 per annumLevel 2 - £15,748 - £17,101 per annum36 hours per week, term time onlyAre you looking for a rewarding new role, helping to enhance the lives of young people with Learning Difficulties and Special Educational Needs?About the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen in our Special Educational Needs School for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join the team. Working as part of our School Team, you will be assisting with the development and implementation of individual education and behaviour plans, also personal care programmes.You will be responsible for supporting with specific and targeted curriculum through various strategies in order to help our learners achieve their learning goals and also promoting independence.This is an incredibly rewarding role working closely with our learners to provide them with an educational experience that not only extends their academic skills and abilities, but also promotes personal growth and helps to build self-esteem.About youYou do not need previous experience of working in a Learning Support Assistant role, however it is desirable. We do ask that you have good literacy and numeracy skills and are able to communicate effectively with both learners and adults.A relevant qualification is essential for our Level 2 Teaching Assistant position e.g. Level 3 SSTLiS or equivalent. You will be working Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year.St Elizabeth'sSt Elizabeth's is situated in 60 acres of Hertfordshire countryside between Harlow and Bishop's Stortford.
