Database Administrator
Location: Hemel Hempstead/Boston West
Job Type: Full Time - Permanent
Remuneration: £24,000 p.a.

In this exciting role you will be helping to manage our EPOS back-office, tills, databases and associated systems to ensure they are up to date and accurate.

What you'll be doing
You will be responsible for keeping our F&B EPOS systems running smoothly so that our on-park Holiday Heroes can depend upon them as they deliver delight to our guests. This includes:
Managing and maintaining the design of the EPOS database
Supporting end-users of the database, including till users, managers, accountants and analysts
Maintaining the EPOS supplier database with cost prices and supplier details
Keeping recipes up to date and supporting new and existing menus by accurate setup of till buttons, prices, products and recipes
Helping to maintain ordering apps and other third-party systems where they interact with the main F&B EPOS system
Producing reports, extracts and exports of data, supporting stock takes and responding to ad hoc requests
Skills, experience and qualities you'll need
If you can match the skills, experience and qualities listed below, we'd love to hear from you:
Good level of education including GCSE English and Maths
Experience in an F&B operation using modern EPOS and till systems, both front of house and in the back office
Experience working with data-entry, understanding the importance of accuracy
Great communication skills and able to empathise with the end user
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
IT skills, especially Microsoft Office applications and OneDrive, with advanced Excel skills
It's the icing on the cake if you can demonstrate a good knowledge of food and beverage products, product recipes, and the operational challenges of high-volume hospitality, and if have experience in in more advanced data analytics such as SharePoint, Power Query and Power BI.
