Facilities Co-ordinator - Hemel Hempstead - £22,000 to £25,000 - 25 days holiday - Pension + Bonus and Benefits

Melbreck Technical is working with a leading designer and manufacturer of special purpose equipment, who are located throughout the UK and have been trading for over 80 years.

They are known in their industry for innovative and quality products that last, and they have won multiple prestigious awards.

Due to a very successful 2020, and a great start to 2021, they are looking to expand their Facilities Support Function at one of their sites in Hemel Hempstead, and as such are looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator to join the team ASAP.

This role will allow you the ability to work for a true world leader in their field and give you access to training and personal development from the minute you join the business.

Facilities Co-ordinator - Responsibilities:

Reporting directly into the UK Facilities Manager, you will be working with the front-of-house team, playing a supporting role for ensuring that an end-to-end process in achieving high standards of equipment maintenance, Health and Safety, and building compliance remain.

Facilities Co-ordinator - Tasks:

Improving the awareness and communication of Environmental topics and behavioural changes onsite.

Making sure the site Planned Preventative maintenance is up to date.

Engaging with suppliers from any reactive or project works which need to be undertaken.

Dealing with and booking in contractors to site.

Support and maintaining the 'Control of contractor's procedure,

Checking relevant paperwork and requesting documents prior to the contractor completing the work.

Facilities Co-ordinator - Candidate Requirements:

Exposure to Environmental Health and Safety would be an advantage

Attention to detail and a "value-added" approach to work.

Good communication skills, tactful and persuasive.

Highly self-motivated and proactive.

Ability to work under pressure, multitask, self-motivated.

Facilities Co-ordinator - Hours & Benefits:

08.30 to 17.15 Monday to Thursday

08.30 to 16.00 on Friday

The role requires the ability to travel on occasion.

The role requires the ability to be on-site 5 days a week, but there is some flexibility to work from home on occasion.
