Gas Repair Engineer

Thanks to an increase in workload, we are currently recruiting Drainage Engineers working for one of the nation's most prestigious utilities companies. As an established Gas Boiler Repair engineer you will represent our brand and undertake the maintenance and repair work of gas appliances and central heating systems in private domestic properties.

What We Offer to our Gas repair Engineers:
* Salary - £36,414 + £3,000 signing on bonus!
* £3,000 signing on bonus (This is split into two payment, £1,500 in your first payroll and £1,500 upon passing your probation)
* Annualised hours - 35 hours per week in the summer spread over 4 days and 45 hours per week in the winter spread over 5 days

What You Need:
As an experienced gas repair engineer, we need you to have the following qualifications:
* CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 & CKR1
* Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 penalty points
* Experience of working on a variety of different manufacturer's appliances
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong customer focus with the ability to deal with complaints

Training & Support
In order to use the relevant systems and work as a Gas Engineer for HomeServe, you'll need to undertake our extensive training programme. The initial training will consist of 4 weeks of support prior to being signed-off to work on your own. During week 1 the training will be Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm and based in Nottingham. This will be classroom-based training where you have a corporate induction to HomeServe and cover off Health & Safety, tools and equipment. There will then be 3 weeks where you 'buddy' up with an experienced Gas engineer in your area.

* Full Time - Average 40 hours per week over the year working annualised hours (35 hours per week in the summer spread over 4 days and 45 hours per week in the winter spread over 5 days)
