ROLE PROFILE:

Support the Group IT Manager in maintaining all aspects of the company's computer infrastructure. This includes desktop, software and network support and providing basic training to users on company software.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

IT Administration

* Establish and maintain a company IT Helpdesk.

* Provision of ad hoc support to software users across the company.

* Manage ad hoc hardware support in conjunction with the company's third-party provider

* Monitor the Helpdesk operation to ensure incidents are dealt with in a timely fashion.

* Assist with the implementation of new software and technologies.

* Assist with the management of software licences and ensure licence compliance.

* Assist with the management of contracts for ICT services.

* Assist the IT Manager in the procurement of IT equipment and services.

* Assist the IT Manager in the management of the company website and social media presence.

* Assist the IT Manager in asset management including periodic audits.

* Assist in the Administration of user accounts, email addresses etc.

* Preparation and configuration of ICT hardware.

IT Training

* Provide both structured and ad-hoc training for core software solutions including Windows 10, MS Office, COINS (ERP), AssetTagz, Nestforms and Vision (Deltek PIM).

* Assist the Group Training and Development Manager in the monitoring of additional training and support requirements of software users.

* Assist with the production of IT based training material (tutorial videos, user guides etc.).

* Assist with the administration of the company Learning Management System.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL:

* An IT related qualification.

* Experience in the IT industry and in providing IT training to others.

* The ability to use and understand IT equipment quickly.

* Excellent level of general IT skills.

* Excellent customer service and communication skills.

* Excellent organisational skills.

* Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.

* Experience supporting a Windows 10 environment and MS Office.

* Ability to deliver training programmes

* Ability to prioritise new task, projects with current work to meet deadlines
