*Customer Care Advisor - Construction *

*Working with a residential main contractor *

*Permanent: £25,000 - £30,000 + Package *

*Office location: Hitchin *

We are currently searching for a Customer Care Advisor for one of the South East's busiest residential main contractors. This business specialise in producing high specification apartments for the private sale and build to rent markets, therefore the customer support role is extremely important.

*The role: *
* Work with clients, new homeowners/tenants, maintenance staff and building managers to resolve issues with new apartments throughout the defect period.
* When a defect is identified, organise suitable repairs to be made by the maintenance staff and call in external contractors for more specialist repairs.
* Keep thorough logs of all incoming defects, how they have been closed out and produce reports to senior management identifying areas for improvement.
* Keep thorough logs of maintenance team response times and how long it takes to correct the problem.
* Follow up with homeowners/tenants and conduct reviews on the service provided.

*Required: *
* High level of customer service experience.
* Strong I.T. skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
* Previous knowledge of the construction industry would be beneficial but not essential.
* Previous experience working as a maintenance planner/administration role would be beneficial.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
