Competitive hourly salary
6 months from start date (extendable pending performance review)
Shifts include 12 hours - Day and Night (Must be able to work both)

A global pharmaceutical manufacturer of is looking for Manufacturing Operators who will be responsible for operating designated production equipment. You will be expected to ensure that operations conducted are performed in accordance with the requirements and standards the company holds.

Job Requirements:
* Must have experience in Pharmaceutical, chemical or food production
* GMP experience
* Must be able to work nights and days

Description:
* To set up batches (booking materials on to computer systems, physically bringing the materials onto line, and setting up batch information on the laser system etc.), checking all details against batch documentation.
* To operate the line, monitoring reject levels and responding to machine stoppages (identifying and correcting issues where possible and escalating to Engineering Technical Operator)
* Replenishing components (devices, labels, leaflets etc.) to ensure continuous production is maintained.
* To carry out routine In-Process Checks during batch manufacture and where results fall out of specifications escalate.
* To perform all daily and weekly checks and critical device challenges to ensure the Packing machines and ancillary equipment operate within specification to ensure consistent quality of packaged devices.
* To complete all batch documentation in an accurate and timely manner including use of company Information Technology (IT) systems (including the Systems Applications & Products / Manufacturing Enterprise Resource Planning Solution)
* To perform line clearance at the end of each batch to prevent cross contamination of the subsequent batch and to check all documentation is completed accurately.
* To order components from the warehouse to ensure adequate supplies are maintained, using the appropriate IT system; also, dispatch finished packed devices to the warehouse.
* To carry out all cleaning activities specified in area SOPs.
* To take on additional roles within the department, as agreed with the individuals manager and in accordance with the area Team Plan.
