Job description

My client requires an experienced Procurement Administrator to join an experienced business working on engineering projects on a permanent basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone to join a successful business and learn more about the procurement sector working with an experienced team on high profile projects.

The role will require you to work between the client's offices which are Kings Cross and Hemel Hempstead and home when required.

Duties include:

* Liaising with the site teams to order materials for all projects

* Negotiating and chasing quotes with suppliers

* Assist with maintenance and updating of existing purchase orders

* Assist with supplier invoice queries

* Identify where procedures or processes are not fit for purpose and recommend to Head of Procurement any changes for consideration

* Knowledge of the Construction / Engineering sectors would be beneficial.

* Comfortable with working to tight deadlines and within a fast-paced environment.

* Filling out PQQ's for Tenders

In order to apply for the role you will need the following:

* Great organisational skills

* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

* Knowledge and experience of managing and maintaining data

This role would offer up structured training and a real opportunity to progress into a lead role within the business.

Starting salary of £34/35,000 + Pension + Holiday + Full benefits
