Job description

Schools Plus Limited manages the lettings of school facilities, generating additional revenue for each school we represent. We enable the local community to hire and enjoy the facilities during evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Our mission is to transform community use in a thousand schools across the UK.

Due to further expansion, we are looking to recruit an *experienced multi-site manager *to oversee the operations at some of our schools in the Hertfordshire area. If you have experience as a *Retail General Manager*, *Retail Area Manager *or *Hospitality Manager* this may be the job for you.

As one of our team of Venue Managers, you will have overall operational responsibility for each of your allocated schools, being responsible for recruitment, training and the monitoring of each of your team members. You will also be required to build strong relationships at every level within each school you are responsible for. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering a high level of service to our customers, across all sites, ensuring they receive what they have contracted for, whilst school use continues uninterrupted, and that our standards of health, safety and safeguarding are never compromised.

This requires a great deal of care, planning and effort - especially when you are operating multiple sites and accommodating hundreds of users.

Achievement of operational excellence is formally measured by operational excellence reports but the true test is in client and customer satisfaction, things which only operational excellence can deliver.

This is a *full-time role*. Our operational hours are evenings, weekends and school holidays. You will be responsible for setting your own working week to suit the needs of your schools, but also giving you flexibility in your working patterns. At least half of your time is likely to be spent working during our operational hours.

*SKILLS PROFILE - The following are essential*
* Multi-site management experience, ideally within retail or venue management. Retail General Management and Retail Area Management experience will be favourably reviewed in our selection process
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* A strong understanding of the importance of customer service
* Good numeracy and IT skills
* The ability to organise and prioritise your work under pressure
* Full UK Driving Licence and use of own vehicle. We will pay expenses for business travel.
