Tradewind are working in partnership with a lovely, welcoming Salford school in Worsley who are looking for a KS1 teacher to join their Team in January 2022, earlier if possible. The senior leadership team are looking for someone who has a track record of building strong relationships with pupils, families and their local community. You will be due to start in January 2021, covering Maternity leave until the end of the academic year. As the KS1 teacher, you will be paid an above market rate that matches your experience.

Within this Salford school, there is a shared approach to enthuse a love of learning in all their pupil as well as ensuring a caring and respectful environment for the children is created. Alongside this, children are given plenty of opportunities to learn through interactive, engaging lessons which have been carefully planned by the dedicated teaching team.

As a KS1 teacher, you will be working closely with your KS 1 team to develop highly effective schemes of work and lessons that make an impact on the children's education. Encouraging them to achieve their full potential and bridge any gaps that may have developed throughout the pandemic. You will also be required to:

Plan and Teaching a balanced and diverse curriculum.
Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's development, attainment, and personal needs
Set high expectations for pupil outcomes.
Develop a classroom environment based the school values.
Provide a caring and supportive learning environment

Have Qualified Teacher Status
Is enthusiastic, resilient and a determined team player
Is committed to providing creative and inspiring learning experiences
Has excellent communication skills, use of initiative and organisational skills
Has an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Has the right to work in the U.K
