Victim Support is looking for a Sexual Violence (SV) Triage Worker, based in one of our Lancashire Hubs. Working for VS gives you the opportunity to play a key role in a national charity providing high quality services to victims and witnesses and being a vital force for change.This is an exciting opportunity to join our extremely busy Sexual Violence team based in one of our 4 hubs in Lancashire, and supporting sexual abuse victims across Lancashire. The role will be largely office based, making initial contact with victims, assessing immediate needs and addressing safety issues in preparation to hand over to caseworkers.We are looking for an SV Triage Worker who is ready to join our dedicated and passionate team. We are looking for someone who is approachable and has an understanding of the support needs victims and survivors of Serious Sexual Assault and Rape present with. We are hoping to find someone who has fantastic interpersonal skills who can communicate with clients of all backgrounds and needs as well as working within a multi-agency context. Working as an SV Triage Worker will be challenging at times but at LVS we have a great team and management who are ready to support you.
