Joining us as Assistant Principal, you will lead and manage the delivery and future development of the College's curriculum provision in accordance with the College's vision, mission and strategic objectives.

Providing effective leadership for learning, teaching and assessment and learner engagement, you will lead the curriculum with inspiration and enthusiasm, promote and embed innovation and lead effective change management to secure sustainable quality improvement; managing underperformance to promote excellence. The post will have responsibility for particular curriculum areas within the college and ensure that the post holder has the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience throughout all of the college curriculum offer.

Driving and supporting the continuous professional development of curriculum team members to maximise their potential and the subsequent impact on learners, you will lead on the production of the College's Curriculum and Operational Planning and ensure that the provision addresses the learning needs of diverse client groups/individuals.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have experience of delivery in further education or schools to a high standard together with management/ supervision experience in a high performing organisation (secondary or further education).

A teaching qualification and knowledge of the FE sector is essential and you must be capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines and demonstrate diplomacy, impartiality and professionalism at all times.
