Job description

We are currently supporting our client based in Lancashire to recruit a HR Manager to join this professional consultancy business. This is a true generalist role covering the full spectrum of HR and including some office management. This is a multisite business with the Head office based in the Blackburn area. We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full suite of HR needs for a professional services business. Ideally CIPD qualified, we are looking for a generalist HR professional to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities:

Providing HR advice and support across the Head office and 3 regional offices
Providing support and advice on all employee relations issues
Managing performance and absence, management of holidays and exit interviews
Managing the appraisal process, and staff attraction and retention
Supporting with the recruitment of staff
Office management tasks including, H&S, Fire safety & purchasing

The person:

Ideally CIPD qualified
True HR Generalist, experienced in all areas of HR, including but not limited to Employee relations, Absence, Reward, benefits, recruitment
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of UK employment legislation
Adaptable to change and continuous improvement
