We are looking for inspired, motivated individuals to join our dedicated team of Recovery Support colleagues to positively engage with our clients in our 'Enhanced Community Recovery' service in Westhoughton and willing to travel to schemes in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire area.

About you, about the role

Ideally you will already have an understanding of the needs of people living with mental health and its effects although full training will be given for you to provide recovery focused, person centred support to enable our clients to live as independently as possible within the community.

Developing trusting relationships with clients to achieve positive outcomes, you will be part of recovery support planning to help create an empowering environment which promotes self-esteem and enables service users to express choice and make decisions about their lives.

Above all you will have the willingness to learn, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and have good I.T. skills, including word, databases and e-mails. You may already have an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care, if not we will support in you obtain this.

Hours are based on a rota working 39.25 hour per week, including sleep ins, weekends and lone working.

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
