I am currently recruiting for a Technical Services Manager role to work on a well established PFI contact in Blackburn. The TSM will oversee a small engineering team of mechanical and electrical engineers who will provide planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial buildings.

As well as managing the engineers you will be in charge of ensuring the team KPI's are hit, running reports and making sure the customer is happy with the service.

Duties of the role include:

Managing a team of engineers - motivation, training, succession planning, disciplinaries, sickness etc.
Overseeing the M+E assets for a portfolio of commercial buildings.
Managing KPI's in line with a PFI contract.
Customer liaison - ensuring satisfaction at all times and managing any issues.
Administration duties such as running reports, working with O+M's, checking KPI's on Maximo, issuing permits to work etc.
Running lifecycle works and defects.
Liaising with subcontractors as required.
Managing health and safety across the sites and completing risk assessments.
The candidate

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Experienced manager of engineers
From a mechanical or electrical background
Ideally to have PFI experience
Approachable personality
Not afraid to tackle issues head on
Great communicator and people person
Good IT/Admin skills
