Your new roleAs a Teaching Assistant you will support the delivery of education to our students to help them reach their potential.You will support a safe, happy and well-disciplined learning environment which enables our children to acquire a wide range of knowledge, skills and practical abilities, is absolutely essential.

Further duties of the role include:

Supporting within the classroom
Supporting the delivery of small group interventions
Assisting with behaviour management
You will be expected to establish positive relationships with both children and staff and will be part of a highly motivated team who aim to give all students access to a broad and balanced curriculum.

You will be required to support students of all abilities over a wide range of subjects;
excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to students in a calm and engaging manner are therefore essential to this role.

What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will have;

Experience of working with secondary aged children
NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the role
Ability to work with understanding and a calm and engaging manner
The Ability to work with confidentiality
Be confident working closely with SLT, SENCO, teachers and parents
Commitment to Safeguarding
