Here in Manchester, we have a great opportunity for an HR Advisor to join our HR Team delivering end to end support to the HR Manager and key stakeholders by leading on operations HR issues and processes. This is a great opportunity for a CIPD qualified HR professional to gain excellent experience within a global blue- chip company and a unionised manufacturing business.

Key responsibilities will include:

* First point of contact for all stakeholders leading on advice, guidance and process support for HR

* Owning the HR in-box and managing an ER/Capability caseload

* Talent Acquisition including creating job descriptions, job postings, screening documents, sourcing candidates and presenting fully screened, qualified candidates to Hiring Manager

* Induction and on-boarding

* Project work support e.g. policy review, OD/Change projects

* HR systems, including any upgrade projects to optimise functionality and reporting & output.

* HR key metrics and reporting.

What we are looking for

* CIPD level 3 qualification

* Up to date knowledge of key employment law

* Comprehensive ER/Capability caseload management

* Policy development support and roll-out

* HR support on OD/Change projects including culture and engagement

* Recruitment - up to manager level. Assessment Centre experience an advantage.

* HR Metrics. Creating & updating reports/excel spreadsheets with high accuracy and presentation. Using data to support a proposal/change.

* Systems - including Time & Attendance and HRIS. Developing system usage to maximise data output. Ideally has led a system upgrade.

* Excel skills - able to create & develop excel spreadsheets for tracking and reporting,

We are based in Walkden with easy access to major transport links. Working hours are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday typically 08:00 - 16:00. There is scope for some remote working.
