Electronics Engineer - Lancaster - £25,000 to £35,000 DOE

About the Company

Our client an established electronics technology company have an enviable track record in complete system, electronic, mechanical and software design, supplying bespoke and off the shelf solutions to meet customer requirements across a variety of industry sectors.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager the successful candidate will join an established team of electronics engineers designing and developing electronic products for a variety of applications.

Due to current growth plans and ongoing development opportunities we are interested in speaking to Graduate level or experience electronics professionals.

Electronics Engineer - The Rewards

Salary - £25,000 to £35,000 DOE

Electronics Engineer - Requirements

Educated to Degree level in Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering.
PCB Design Experience, ideally using Altium tools
Knowledge of RF and/or FPGA Design - Desirable
Knowledge of Positioning, Navigation or Timing Technologies - Desirable
British National with the ability to work in the UK, due to the requirement for Security Clearance Electronics Engineer - Responsibilities

Design and development of Electronic Systems.
Lead, operate and develop products to ensure customer requirements are met, on time and within budget.
Support the sales team to produce technical information and costs for bids, ensuring that the information meets customer and company requirements.
Support customers during development projects, to agree requirements, provide progress updates, control changes and deliver to agreed acceptance criteria.
Ensure all new and existing products can be efficiently and consistently translated from development to production.
Provide technical support for products throughout their lifecycle and to ensure that the production and sales team can maintain products effectively.
Build strong relationships with a group of preferred suppliers, who not only provide excellent service but also contribute ideas for new product development.
Proactively re-engineer existing products so costs are reduced without deterioration in product quality.
Maintain and report against agreed departmental performance measures and standards, in line with the agreed timetable About Us
