Job description

*Alcedo Care are expanding and looking to recruit a full time experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Field Care Supervisor for the Lancaster office to strengthen their team. This role will cover the Lancaster, Garstang, Morecambe, Over Wyre and Carnforth areas.*

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated and dynamic team who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.

*You must be able to work the following shift patterns: *

- 06:30am - 14:00pm

- 15:00pm - 23:00pm

- 2 days based in our Lancaster office a week (to be discussed at interview)

- Every other weekend (Saturday AND Sunday)

- be flexible to cover the on call service

*You will be responsible for: *
* Undertaking spot checks on care workers within the field.
* Support the ambassadors and complete competency checks
* customer service reviews
* Assisting with completing carers and clients weekly rotas
* Helping with business development.
* Supervising Care services.
* Providing care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures.
* On Call Duties- evening & weekends to be carried out on a rota.
* deliver high quality care to our customers

*Job Description: *

* To work with and alongside our other Team Leaders.
* To develop an effective working relationship with our Care Manager, Care Assessor & Care Coordinator
* To maintain care skills at a current level and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up-to-date.
* Be proactive in becoming a Dementia Friend, promoting this amongst others.
* Monitor care workers and evaluate their performance.
* Evaluate standards of care competence across the workforce highlighting areas that require development.

*Requirements: *
* Driving License with access to your own vehicle.
* Fully flexible and to work alternate weekends.
* Previous experience in a senior role.
* At least 1 years experience within a Health and Social Care setting.
* The right to work in the UK.
