Diesel Generator Service & Commissioning Engineer £40,000 - £50,000 + Overtime

Due to their continued & planned expansion, we have a varied, exciting and challenging opportunity for a technically minded and astute Diesel Generator Service & Commissioning Engineer to cover a number of geographical sites.

This is a senior level, dual function role within the growing business and will involve time spent working away from home during the week.

This opportunity is not available elsewhere and would suit a skilled Diesel Generator Senior Field Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineer looking to advance their career in the Power Generation sector, with a reputable business.

The Diesel Generator Service & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for:

Performance testing.
Liaising with electrical authorities and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Troubleshooting and fault finding on control panels.
Modification of generator control panels.
Problem resolution at service and commissioning stages.
Training and support and development of Engineers within the business.
The Diesel Generator Service & Commissioning Engineer will have:

Experience on relevant control panels used for generator / CHP applications.
Strong electrical fault finding and troubleshooting capability.
A good understanding of pre commissioning and commissioning regulations for compliance.
A can-do attitude!
Be willing to stay away from home for up to 2 week each month.
