Ford & Stanley - The Rail Recruitment Experts are seeking Electrical Technicians to support our client at their Allerton location on a permanent basis.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work for a company who have become international market leaders in the design, manufacture, maintenance and supply of equipment and components for rail systems. The Company has a significant presence throughout the UK.

Key Role and Responsibilities

Perform electrical fault finding
Replace electrical components as and when required
Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and correct accordingly

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will ideally have worked in a similar position within Rolling Stock or another highly regulated industry such as Aerospace, Automotive or Bus.

Essentials

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical/ Electromechanical Engineering
Fault finding experience
Able to interpret electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematic diagrams
Use of diagnostic software
Flexible regarding working hours- happy to work shifts as and when required to meet the demands of the business
Desirables

Rolling Stock experience is highly desirable
