Job description

KPMG in the UK is part of a global network of member firms that offers Audit, Tax, Legal, Consulting, Deal Advisory, and Technology services. Powered by the talent of more than 16,000 people, we bring creativity, insight and experience to solve our clients' and communities' biggest problems.

What is Audit?

Audit is the largest of our UK practices and our teams provide independent insight, challenge, and high-quality audit expertise to organisations of all shapes and sizes. Our work in audit is all about examining organisations and ensuring their published accounts provide a 'true and fair' view of their financial position.

KPMG Audit Empowered Graduate Programme

As a graduate trainee, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex audit engagements - which could include big retailers, UK banks and multinational companies. You'll play a big part in our continuous improvement initiatives and taste life across our different audit functions. Depending upon the regional office you join, you may be allocated to a specific industry sector or work across a variety of industries. The work is challenging, yet rewarding, and those who are resilient, agile and have a curious mindset will thrive, working alongside some of the brightest minds in business.

Our Audit Empowered Graduate Programme offers you the chance to follow a blended learning pathway; gaining work experience alongside study towards funded ACA or CA (Scotland) qualifications.

Programmes are available nationwide.

Training and benefits

You'll have access to funded, relevant professional qualifications; an extensive programme of internal training geared towards your career and personal development; and the chance to use your skills to make a difference through a range of community volunteering initiatives. We offer a competitive salary and a host of great benefits too, including 25 days holiday, study leave and a day off on your birthday.

Your qualifications

You'll need to have, or be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline. We will however look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See our 'How to Apply' sections on our Careers Portal for further guidance.
