Our Liverpool site has a remarkable 20 Year Track Record in Biologics Development, which now offer A Fully IntegratedGene Therapy Drug Substance Solution in our state of the art cGMP facility purpose designed for viral vectors with onsite plasmid DNA and renowned analytical capabilities for release and characterisationThe Pharmaron Liverpool Team has consistently delivered biologics programs across all development phases and due to our continued expansion plans we are now recruiting for a Scientist to join our Analytical Sciences teamWe offer a competitive salary and a progressive and comprehensive suite of employee benefitsWe offer state of the art working environment in our modern Liverpool siteWe offer the opportunity for growth and development and will support funding for relevant training and development programmesWe do more than manufacture batches, we develop medicines!Key roles and responsibilities:Perform testing of utilities, raw materials, process development, in process, product release and stability to ensure delivery on time, on budget and in compliance with the established quality standards.Support the optimization, phase appropriate validation and/or technical transfer of developed methods for cGMP testing and writing associated protocols/reports.Write procedures for analytical methods, equipment, processes to the required quality for cGMP compliance.Lead the management of samples for projects assigned to them. Responsible for interpreting and analysing experimental results and communicating them effectively via study reports and presentations to Snr Manager, Analytical SciencesPerforming trend analysis of analytical results and ensuring test specifications are met and reporting out of specifications to Snr Manager, Analytical Sciences.Initiate and investigate OOS's, Deviations, Change Controls and CAPAs and notify Snr Manager, Analytical Sciences of the occurrence.Support the installation and validation of analytical equipment by writing and executing equipment validation documentation including but not limited to URS, trace matrix, IOQ, SOP's, protocols and reports in line with quality procedures and guidelines.QualificationRequirements:As Scientist you will perform analytics associated with the transfer and phase appropriate validation of analytical methodologies for non-GMP and cGMP testing of biological productsFor this role we are looking for: -BSc science graduate (or equivalent) with biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical experience.Experienced in the analysis of biomolecules.Experience in writing procedures, protocol and reports.Working knowledge of analytical techniques including but not limited to Electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, IEF), Chromatography (SE-UPLC, RP-HPLC, AEX, HILIC), Immunoassays (ELISA, Potency, HCP)Why Should You Apply?This is an opportunity for you as a science professional to make a real impact in a highly scientific and regulated environment, demonstrate leadership, ambition, and the desire to grow with the departmentBuild and shape your career in an environment that sets and commits to the highest standards of BiologicsTo be part of a team who support each other, embrace, and solve technical challenges and put excellence at the heart of all that we doFounded in 2004, Pharmaron is a cutting-edge, fully integrated pharmaceutical R&D service platform supporting the life science industry.
