An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Design Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing civil engineering design elements for our projects and will play a key role in shaping this area of our work moving forward to ensure we remain innovative and relevant in the sector.
Our ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and should ideally have (or be working towards) Chartered or Incorporated Civil Engineer status. We are also looking for a candidate with: • A high level of experience in managing and designing a variety of projects. • Experience in Microdrainage, AutoCAD, Civil3D, PDS, Info drainage, Site 3D and SUDS. • Experience of preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies. • Experience in Highways and Road design. • Excellent people skills and experience of building effective relationships with clients. • Highly organised, efficient and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Excellent creativity, vision and problem-solving skills.
