General informationCraft Development ChefRef: 22Job InformationDivision:Taylor ShawAdvert Closing Date:19/12/2021Number of Hours:Full-timeSalary:£30,000 Per annumContract Type:PermanentLocation:Manchester, M1Working EnvironmentWe are looking for a passionate and ' hands-on' Craft Development Chef to work a cluster of sites within our growing Education divisionThis role is field-based covering the predominantly the North of England.Job DescriptionYour key responsibilities as the Craft Development Chef will consist of:Accountable for creating a platform for financial growth through cost control, culinary excellence improving merchandising, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating results within the chef teams.Key role objective #1Develop training and support materials to drive compliance to agreed initiativesOwn the Starchef system across the businessProactively identify problem sites and work with operations and other functions to improve the food offer and the financial and operational performanceHelps to develop new concepts and solutionsSupport out in the business with added value eventsSupport Operations Managers develop management within the area of responsibility to ensure proactive management of chef teams on site.
