Groundstaff Supervisor (Manchester United)

Manchester United currently require the services of 2x Groundstaff Supervisors to join their maintenance team based at Old Trafford.

Duties are to include:

Daily Supervision of Groundstaff/Cleaning/Casual teams
Planning workloads and raising jobs through the helpdesk
Delivery of first-class customer service. Leading from the front and ensuring all help desk jobs are completed within acceptable time restraints
Supporting all teams under their remit by assisting with Cleaning/Help desk requests.
Controlling cleaning supplies in relation to stock control and storage adhering to all relevant health and safety matters.
Ensuring adequate stock is always available
Identify and meet the needs of colleagues and our customers, focusing on initiating and welcoming contact and communication whilst striving to deliver first class customer service.
Recognise potential complaint situations and make effective steps to avoid and or resolve these situations.
Monitoring/Auditing and keeping records in relation to all areas of the stadium footprint.
Be able to communicate effectively to all levels of staff within GPS Department and external personnel and members of the public
To assist with the provision of training and developments of colleagues as required.
Responsible for all paperwork related to all staff under your Remit. To assist with the provision of training and development of all colleagues.
Ensure effective communication with your work team and actively offer support and guidance as necessary
Build supportive relationships with all team members and all other key Internal/External personnel.
Ensure compliance with all the company's security, loss prevention and keyholder/Confidentiality/social media procedures and policies
Candidate specification:

Have a good understanding of up-to-date Health and safety legislation including the 1974 Health and safety at work Act. Management of Health and safety at work regulations 1992. COSHH 1994.
Hold Basic IT skills in relation to word and Excel documents.
Hold a professional qualification (IOSH) in Health and Safety or be willing to undergo training for the IOSH certificate in Health and Safety
Hold professional qualifications in Building cleaning- levels 1+2 or be willing to undergo suitable training for NVQ Levels 1+2 in Building cleaning
