Job description

A leading timber engineering specialist, located at purpose-built sites strategically positioned across the UK. Renowned for its team of timber engineering experts, the very latest manufacturing processes, integrated supply chains and strong environmental credentials.

Their products include Roof Trusses, Spandrel Panels, I-Joists, Metal Web Joists, Floor Cassettes and Roof Cassettes.

The Role
To provide quotes and designs in a timely fashion, ensuring activities are carried out with customer satisfaction in mind
* Prepare accurate designs, schedules and quotations for submission to customers
* Value engineering to ensure best possible financial return to the business
* Present accurate information for manufacturing
* Review, evaluate, prioritise and manage workload
* Review own work for accuracy, efficiency and quality, additionally reviewing colleagues work if required

Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Prioritisation/ time and workload management
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Substantial design and estimating experience
* An understanding and knowledge of the products and services the business offers, as well as the design process and methodology
* Understanding of how markets, customers and external influences affect the business objectives
