Job description

SpaMedica is one of the UK's leading independent providers of ophthalmic services and largest provider of NHS cataract surgery.

We are looking for Hospital Manager to join our team in Oldham to lead a team of Clinical and Non-Clinical staff to provide exemplary clinical care to our patients whilst also ensuring the smooth running of the hospital in all departments.

The overall goal is to deliver the highest quality of eye care in each of our hospitals.

The Role:
* You will be responsible for the day to day management of SpaMedica and Freedom Vision at each site. You will work with and be supported by your local Area Manager and by the board, specifically the Chief Operational Officer to oversee the hospital and ensure it is CQC compliant.
* You will act as a mentor to your team members, ensuring colleagues and new members of staff are provided with the support to succeed
* You will ensure that performance monitoring standards are adhered to and the highest standards of care are maintained. You will also ensure nursing teams deliver effective patient care by providing exemplary clinical care.
* You will seek to improve services and support the efficient use of resources and you will provide highly visible leadership of SpaMedica clinical workforce and foster a culture which values continuing professional development that empowers the team to achieve an excellence in the delivery of patient care.

So what are we looking for?
* Significant experience in healthcare management
* 5 to 8 years extensive clinical experience (desirable)
* Ability to demonstrate experience of patient and public engagement
* Flexibility as some travel will be required

Salary: £40,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
