IMMEDIATE START - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, Hybrid working, based in Preston, Learning & Development & HR
Your new company
My client based in Preston is seeking a professional HR \/ L&D system specialist to join their team on a full time 12 month fixed term contract.
You will be working for a global leader who provide independent weight determination, inspection, supervision and analytical services to the metals & minerals and solid fuels industry. Helping distribution worldwide
Your new role
The HR and L&D team supports the organisation and its people to achieve the business aims by having the right people at the right time.
You will deal with the full 'employee lifecycle', including recruitment, induction and training, how to inspire strong performance and keep the organisations people engaged, and how they develop, recognise and reward their people.
The position is being offered as full time Monday - Friday with working hours of 08.30am - 17.00pm
Hybrid working is also available.
Some of your duties will include but not limited too
Lead the implementation and training of a new global HR system and support the implementation of the new L&D platform, payroll and other new digital systems within the business.
Support the Talent Acquisition process, including managing the vacancy authorisation digital process, organising interviews, liaising with recruiters, providing feedback to candidates and providing recruitment data upon request.
Organise Company inductions and complete the onboarding process, both face to face and virtual including the preparation and sending digital offer letters and contracts.
Process leavers including preparing accurate, relevant documentation, organising and conducting exit interviews and updating the relevant systems.
Updating and maintaining HR\/L&D and other digital systems, record and reports with accurate employee data. Produce management information reports upon request.
Support HR and L&D administratively with any priority projects.
Support the L&D department, including organising learning events (classroom and virtual), liaising with external providers, preparing materials, processing evaluations and drafting study agreements.
Assist with monthly payroll and benefits updates.
Administer people processes such as probationary reviews, variation to contracts, updated employment contracts, personal development review (PDR), employee relations support, recording absence, salary and bonus reviews.
Ensuring accurate documents are prepared and sent and updating relevant systems.
Management of multiple email inboxes for both HR and L&D.
Ensure PO's are raised, Invoices are paid and Head of HR and L&D credit card expenditure is processed on time.
What you'll need to succeed
CIPD Level 3 or 5 Qualification - desirable.
Strong background in HRIS systems administration and project management
