Specialist Support Assistant

Vision For Education are currently looking for applicants who have experience as a Specialist Support Assistant. The required candidate will have a passion for working with children and young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities but also carry a positive and flexible mindset when approaching the role.
The role
A Specialist Support Assistant role gives a fantastic opportunity to make a real and positive difference to students in an SEN setting. The required candidate will be confident and be able to show empathy with students who have Special Educational Needs.

The Rochdale schools we work with are looking for the right Specialist Support Assistant with the skills to provide support to students. The schools provide high quality education to their students, whilst providing a specialist and supportive settings for children with learning difficulties and disabilities. Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for the Specialist Support Assistant position are:
Be very patient and confident
Be hardworking, organised, and proactive
Easily be able to foster good relationships with staff, students, and parents
Be willing to work in schools in the Rochdale area
