*ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - STOCKPORT- UP TO £24K DOE - PERMANENT - FULL TIME*

*YOUR NEW COMPANY*

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a successful, well-established company based within their Head Offices in Heaton Mersey, Stockport.

*YOUR ROLE*

Within this role you will be:

* Processing sales ledger invoices & credit notes daily and maintaining the Sales Ledger
* Credit control - chasing payments by email and telephone
* Processing Purchase invoices - matching delivery notes and maintaining the Purchase ledger
* Posting and allocating bank receipts and payments to the sales and purchase ledgers
* Daily bank reconciliation
* Supplier statement reconciliation
* Dealing with customer (and internal) queries on a daily basis
* General office duties including filing and answering the telephone

*WHAT YOU NEED*

The client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant. Ultimately you must be comfortable using Sage Line 200, have a warm and accommodating approach to clients/colleagues and a positive attitude to work.
