Job description

*We offer a market leading salary starting at £20,372 - £22,121 *(assuming 1 in 3 weekends) and the opportunity earn more with regular overtime.

We are looking for Support Workers who like us believe that every individual matters and have a passion to be the best at everything they do. As a Support Worker at David Lewis you will be supporting young people and adults with learning difficulties, epilepsy and autism in their daily lives. If you would like to join our team of around 900 employee's you need no experience or qualifications as we provide a comprehensive accredited induction and training.

*We offer the following contracts: *

Full time (5 shifts over 37.5 hours per week)

Part-time (3 shifts over 22.5 hours or 4 shifts over 30 hours)

*Shift times are as follows: *

7.30am - 3.00pm or Late 2.00pm - 9.30pm. The rota will consist of a mixture of both early and late shifts.

David Lewis provides care 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Hence, the post does require working early, late and weekend shifts as required.

From 11th November 2021 it will also be a requirement that anyone working in a (CQC) Care Quality Commission registered care home in England for residents requiring nursing or personal care to have received 2 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine unless they have a medical exemption. Therefore, we will require you to provide evidence of your COVID-19 vaccination status or medical exemption as part of your pre-employment checks.
