Summary

Future Directions CIC have an amazing opportunity to join our team in Trafford, Greater Manchester (M33)
Full and Part Time Hours Available
No Experience Required, Full training plan provided
This is a perfect opportunity for a person centred individual who enjoys going the extra mile, by supporting vulnerable people to fulfil their lives to the full. We are seeking hardworking, values driven people to provide the best support to the residents, so that they can live their best lives!
Our service in Trafford is home to one lovely Gentleman, two Ladies and a friendly cat. The people we support have some form of learning difficulty, and one of our Ladies we support has dementia. We are seeking individuals who will provide the best support and care to the people we support, so they can live life to the full, be happy, and safe.
Our great residents love nothing more than a pub lunch, a walk in the park, watching shows and arts and crafts. We are looking for individuals who can help and encourage our residents to continue with their passions and put a smile on their face every day. One of the people we support has a voluntary job at a local shop, so assisting with travel, time management and organisation skills would be key in supporting this individual in her role.
This dynamic role will also require successful candidates to help and support with personal care, household chores and meal preparation. Meal preparation in this service is vital, as we want our residents to eat healthy, delicious and nutritious meals. Manual handling experience would be desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be fully flexible so we can continue to support our residents around the clock. Providing the best possible support for our residents is a priority for us at Future Directions CIC, and we need to maintain that their needs are met.
Shifts will include; Early Mornings, Late Evenings, Sleep in Shifts and Waking Nights shifts (Sleep in and Waking Night Enhancements). Please note - All successful applicants must be fully flexible to do all required shifts.
An Enhanced DBS will also be a requirement and all successful candidates will have had all Covid-19 Vaccinations, unless exempt.

All successful candidates will be required to complete a full induction, which will take place in
Chadderton, Oldham. To adhere to social distancing measures, the venue will be confirmed closer to your start date. At present, this is a seven-day induction and we require all successful applicants to attend all days.
