Job description

As a trusted partner to military clients around the globe, our client has a reputation for pioneering engineering excellence. A reputation that they have cultivated throughout their long history.
To meet the demand for their products both at home in the UK and overseas, they are creating several new, immediately available permanent CNC Machining jobs at their Stockport based Engineering Centre of Excellence.
You'll be joining a manufacturing business that is known across the globe for its precision-engineered military bridging systems, a product that they have supplied to armies in over 40 countries for almost half a century.
They are looking for CNC Machinists that:

* Ideally, have NVQ level 2-3 Engineering/machining or HNC/HND and machining apprenticeship.
* Have previous experience of running CNC DMG Lathes
* Can read and understand engineering drawings to ensure all parts machined conform to drawing and planning specifications.
* Can set and operate CNC Lathe retrieve and input CNC programs from the nextwork according to the appropriate paperwork.
In return, you will be rewarded with an excellent basic salary based on £21.93 per hour and all the company's other staff benefits.
