Tradewind are looking to recruit a passionate, hard working Early Career Teacher to teach a Year 3 class and join a team of committed teaching professionals at a highly reputable school in Stockport. This Year 3 role is a full-time position and will commence January 2022 running until December 2022. This is a unique opportunity with the possibility of completing the Early Career induction and would suit a driven individual who is looking to make a strong impact and fantastic impression at this initial stage in their career.
The successful applicant will have a thorough up-to-date knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum and feel competent delivering lessons which are well paced, suitably pitched and follow the strategies and structures in place at the school . What is also important is the ability to interact and support children in a positive way to foster their enthusiasm for learning.
About the Role
As the Year 3 class teacher, you will be responsible for the progress and attainment of approximately 30 pupils of mixed ability. There is a small percentage of SEND and EAL learners, experience with autism and ADHD is desirable but not essential. You will be joined by a full-time Teaching Assistant who is familiar with the curriculum and will deliver interventions across the core subjects and you will benefit from fantastic CPD opportunities provided by the school.
The successful applicant will be required to:
-Carry out professional duties and to have responsibility for a Year 3 class adhering to behaviour, assessment, safeguarding and other school policies
-Complete appropriate planning, teaching, marking and assessment activities so each child can achieve their potential both academically and in wider skill-sets
-Promote the aims and objectives of the school and maintain its philosophy of education.
-You will be tasked with creating exciting and engaging lessons aiming to utilise all of the schools resources looking far beyond the confines of a classroom. This truly is a unique opportunity to develop subjects with learning and engagement at the core.
-The ideal candidate will successfully set a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident in using knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, give regular feedback and encourage the children to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.

Essential Requirements
-Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
-Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
-Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference -checks. Or be happy to undertake a new DBS through us
-Have excellent references to support your previous experience in the primary setting
-Have the legal right to work in the UK
