Full time ICT Teacher required for secondary school based on the outskirts of Wigan to start January 2022

Your new company
Hays Education has been approached by one of our partner secondary schools to seek a Teacher of ICT starting in January 2022. Due to our long standing relationship and experience of placing teachers in this school we have again been trusted to find the right candidate. This school is easily accessible by road and has great public transport links.

Your new role
Joining a high achieving ICT department you'll be responsible for the teaching of ICT to KS3 and KS4 pupils due to differing pupils needs you'll need to adapt your lessons to suit the requirements of each lesson. As this is a long term role until at least the end of the academic year you'll be required to plan and prepare lessons, as well as assessing and marking pupils work to ensure they are on track to hit projected grades.

What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful Teacher of ICT at this school you'll have QTS\/QTLS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT\/ECT) and have experience of teaching KS3 or KS4 within the UK. You''ll be able to create a positive teaching environment with your passion for teaching coming across in lessons and being able to build relationships with your pupils. You will need to be available from January and be able to commit until at least the end of the academic year, a permanent position is possible for the right candidate.
