Interim Accounts Payable Clerk required by leading Lincoln company

Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to cover sickness for a period of 3 months for a leading Lincoln based company.

Your new role
Working in a busy finance department you will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and credit notes, investigating invoice to good received note and purchase order discrepancies and dealing with queries, supplier statement reconciliations, requesting copies of missing invoices and investigation of any differences.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have recent and relevant accounts payable\/purchase ledger experience and be used to processing a high volume of invoices weekly. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be confident dealing with internal and external customers at all levels. You will have good IT skills including Excel and be available at short notice, living in the Lincoln area. You will need your own transport due to the rural location of the client.
