Temporary Financial Accountant required by leading Lincoln organisation

Hays Accountancy & Finance are working with a leading and highly successful organisation in Lincoln looking for an experienced financial accounts professional to start ASAP.

Your new role
Working in a small team, you will assist in the preparation and analysis of the financial reports and taxation documents, consolidating the group accounts and balance sheet, establish budget and monthly accounting time-tables, and ensure deadlines are met for preparation of monthly management accounts, and associated budget holder reports, assist in overseeing the month end process and review of balance sheet reconciliations and income and expenditure control accounts for UK and overseas group companies, assist in the production of timely and valuable management and operational information\/reports. Create and produce KPI reports for inclusion in the monthly reporting pack, re-forecasting process, VAT returns, and assist in preparing consolidated and non-consolidated annual financial statements and insurances

What you'll need to succeed
You will have recent and relevant financial accounting, VAT, month and year end accounting experience. You could be studying for an accounting qualification (AAT, CIMA, ACCA) or be qualified by your experience. You will have strong Excel and IT skills and excellent communication skills. You will be available at short notice and living in commuting distance of Lincoln. The role will be 100% office based for a training period but a hybrid working week may be available thereafter.
