Business Development Manager

Up to £55,000 DOE + car/allowance + laptop

Flexible/hybrid working - visits to Scunthorpe H.O

Travel required

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global leading business, travelling internationally to win new lucrative business opportunities and ensure the excellent delivery of technical services for existing customers. This role is ideal for Sales/Business Development Managers with an Industrial Services background, including those from Petrochemical, Refineries, Materials Handling and Maintenance.

You will need:

Ability to travel internationally for site visits
Tenacious attitude to securing new business opportunities
Industrial services background - experience of site shutdowns advantageous
Sound commercial awareness - ability to produce high value quotes and proposals
Technical service sales experience - business development and account management
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to communicate with a range of high-level engineers, managers and major stakeholders
Sound understanding of operational delivery - experience working on refineries is ideal
Experienced with standard Microsoft Suite, knowledge of MS Projects advantageous
