Your new company
You will be working for Hays Education, the market leader in recruiting for Teaching Assistant positions in South Liverpool. As a Teaching Assistant you will be required to work across different settings including Primary Schools. This may be on a long term basis or more short term cover for sickness.

Your new role
As a Teaching Assistant in South Liverpool, you can work either full time or part time, this is up to you. Here at Hays we work with Local Primary schools. You must be flexible in your approach to work as you may need to cover day to day sickness or secured in a longer term position. You will be required to work a general school day between the hours of 8:30-3:30. As a Teaching Assistant working in South Liverpool you will be tasked with interacting with the children and helping with their development in line with the primary curriculum.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed as a Teaching Assistant in South Liverpool you must hold a minimum level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or the equivalent. It is essential that you have experience working in a primary school setting in the last 2 years. You must be flexible in your approach to work but will have the choice on whether you would like to work part time or full time. Finally you must have a real desire to work with children and a track record of improving pupil progress.
