Warehouse Shift Supervisor

*Arc* *Hospitality* are delighted to announce that they are now partnering with an amazing warehouse in Whiston and looking for Warehouse Shift Supervisor.

This is a busy warehouse that fulfils all internet orders for a major football club.

We have Morning and Afternoon shifts available and are can provide FREE TRANSPORT to and from the site, from the Anfield area.

*The Role: *

As Supervisor you will be responsible for the other pickers and packers on shift. This is a hands on supervisor role, so you will also be fulfilling orders.

You will be inducting new staff and running training sessions for new starters.

Previous work experience in a similar role would be desirable.

There are three main roles at the warehouse:

*Picking*

Picking Orders are placed online; an invoice is then produced. The order is then picked on the shop floor, double checked by yourself and put in a box to be put in a packing trolley - once the trolley is full, the trolley is handed over to the packing team. Picking is a very active role, and you will be walking for most of the shift doing in an excess of 20,000 steps per shift. In picking there is a requirement to pick 30 orders an hour.

*Printing*

Printing After 3/4 days of training and assessments you will be able to work on printing. This involves using ironing presses to print iron on numbers / letters / badges onto football shirts. In printing there is a requirement to print 7 shirts an hour.

*Packing*

Packing Once the order is picked and the shirts are printed, they are handed over to packing team. In packing, the order is checked by scanning the products bar code and the order code to make sure that the order is complete and correct before being shipped out. There are a number of different items that you will handle from key rings to glassware, etc. Each item needs a different type of packaging, this role does require some attention to detail. *There is a requirement to pack 26 items an hour.*

*What can you expect?*

With our easy to use app, you apply for the shifts you are interested in. Our staffing team will then inform you with all the details ready for your shifts.

We offer in-house training too, if you are looking to improve your skills and techniques.

The Warehouse is open 7 days a week and each day is split into two shifts:
* Either 6am to 1:15pm or 1pm to 8:15pm.
* You are entitled to a 30-minute break while working, break times are allocated at the start of your shift by your supervisor in the briefing. Half of the break is unpaid, which means that each shift will pay 7 hours.

-Previous Warehouse Experience

-Eager to work and a positive attitude and good team-working skills

-Are reliable and committed to any given role

-Excellent communication and good command of the English language

-Have the right to live and work in the UK
