Content Designer working within the public services sector, based in Manchester. 6 month FTC.

Your new role
As a Content Designer you will work as part of a busy, fun and creative team, you'll be responsible for making sure the content really tells a vibrant, compelling and engaging story. You'll do this using your excellent writing, visual and content design skills. Currently in the process of developing a new content team, with a focus on sharing content effectively across all channels. This role will play a key part in working effectively across the organisation, in particular with the Communications Directorate and HR team. This is a new and unique role, giving you the chance to work across two different teams. The HR team is passionate about embracing the principles of content design to improve information from staff. This role is a result of that, resulting in closer working between communications and HR to making both external and internal-facing content more usable.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of working in a relevant communications and\/or content design field. For example, writing articles for in-house magazines, creating and editing online material, maintaining websites and intranets, delivering internal communications projects or developing multimedia content. You will have a specialist knowledge of content design as a discipline in its own right, you will have outstanding writing skills and experience of managing relationships with external suppliers, you will have a knowledge of different content management systems and understand GDPR principles

What you'll get in return
You will receive an equivalent salary of \u00A331,000 - \u00A337,000 (depending on experience), remote working with 4 days in the office per month, standard holiday entitlement.
