Your new role
The Digital Experimentation Analyst will support our Digital Experimentation Lead maintaining our digital experimentation program within our self service and My Account digital products, supporting agile digital product teams in the delivery of experiments and controlled feature releases (rollouts). You'll work in partnership with the UX team, developers and digital analyst's to plan, support the build of, monitoring and analysis of experiments enabling improvements in our digital experience to drive improved digital NPS and cost to serve.
Key responsibilities:
* Onboarding agile teams across all experimentation technology and strategy. Educating, and enabling them to autonomously execute their own experimentation agenda
* Work directly with the Digital Experimentation Lead to establish governance and operational excellence guidelines
* Provide first line support for our agile teams and business units on all things experimentation, from refining hypotheses, analysing test results and designing experiments
* Collaborate with the digital analyst to measure the commercial and digital experience (NPS) impact of experiments
* Execute quarterly maturity benchmarking exercise across the organisation to build an evolving picture of our experimentation maturity and sophistication
* Work directly with developers to support the implementation of experiments both server side and client side
* Collaborate with Product Owners to set experiment goals within individual teams to drive accountability and ownership of maturity.
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong knowledge of A\/B Testing and experimentation practice principles, spanning ideation, hypothesis building, experiment design and measurement, build, launch, analysis, statistical principles and results sharing.
* Demonstrable experience of using experimentation platforms, such as Optimizely or Adobe Target
* Good stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work effectively with a wide array of highly technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with high levels of empathy and a coaching mentality.
* A good understanding of how to use digital analytics (Google Analytics\/Adobe) and experimentation platforms to segment and measure experiment results to determine outcomes
Prior experience of some, but not all of the following technologies and principals
* Dashboarding Tools (Google Data Studio, Power BI, Tableau)
* UX design and research in addition to product engineering principles
* Programming Languages (SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
* Server side\/full stack experimentation and the use of Feature Flags
* Strong commercial awareness, able to demonstrate the business impact of their work.
* Experience of working in an agile product environment and managing workflows in Jira \/ Azure DevOp's is advantageous but not essential
