Job description

HSE Recruitment have been exclusively engaged by a growing industrial service provider to find them a new Regional HSEQ Manager to Cover the East Midlands. This business have diversified over the years and are having real success at the minute with huge growth plans that are already in play.

There are approx. 20 sites which are a mixture of warehouses and client sites so there will be a good variety and what's even more exciting is that they are growing and winning more contracts so you know the role isn't going to get stagnant.

You will report into the HSEQ Director and be part of a team of 3 other Regional HSEQ Managers. You will be the go to HSEQ expert for your region, ensure processes and procedures are being followed, improve practices were needed, identifying gaps and overall ensuring your region is safe. The risk profile includes working at height, narrow spaces, trolleys, forklift trucks, floor to ceiling products etc. There is a proactive H&S culture and communication is strong across the group. They take a strong stance on H&S and if you see something you don't like you have the authority and backing to take the required steps to make it safe. You will be expect to work with the staff to make improvements, include them in decisions and make it collaborative.

Ideal background:

• Multi-site Warehouse/distribution experience or MRO/ manufacturing/engineering experience.
• Ideally Diploma Level qualified in H&S but will consider NEBOSH Certificate level as well
• An experienced HSEQ professional in a regional role in a matrix structure
• Good time management, capable of managing different demands from different stakeholders and strong client management skills

Salary up to £50,000 + car/car allowance and standard package (25 days holiday + BH, contributory pension). This will be a fluid role so no exact working pattern but be flexible to the needs of the business, the customers etc. so perhaps 2 days in the office and the rest of the week travelling across the sites. There is a home working option but this policy could change in January 2022.
