Supply Chain/Purchasing Lead

This hugely diverse role will cover all elements of the supply chain function for an expanding hi-tech electronics organisation. This role can be for a perm position or fixed term contract.

You will manage the sourcing of components and assemblies for the manufacture of products taking ownership of all sourcing and supplier related activity across the site.

Working closely with 3rd party manufacturers you will ensure that 3rd party manufacturers provide a high-quality product and the necessary procedures are in place across the business to support this.

Due to the technical nature of the product, you will work closely with technical members of the design team across the New Product Introduction process.

Purchasing and managing 3rd party manufacturers will be the key focus but you may also be involved with ordering and stock management and logistics management from time to time.

Although you will not have any direct reports you will be the go-to person across the business for all supply chain related activity. This is a great role for someone with Supply chain management experience or someone with a purchasing background that wants to make the step up.

For this role we are looking for:

A strong sourcing background with experience of working within a manufacturing environment.

Experience of working with 3rd party manufacturing partners
