What you will do

A key part of our Procurement Team, The Procurement Coordinator will coordinate the supply of components material, subcontracting activities and services to the manufacturing facility, assisting with the planning and monitoring of material movement in to production to ensure continuous operations and efficient inventory levels at all times.

How you will do it

As a Procurement Coordinator, you will be maintaining and developing nominated supplier relationships, owning continuous improvement initiatives to improve costs and supplier performance, playing an active role to improve the procurement process and supply chain and purchasing various products through international supplier base.

Overview of Duties:

Placing the Purchase Orders and maintaining Purchase order confirmations for raw materials, subcontracting and service orders.
Tracking of Purchase Orders to ensure right quantities delivered in right time.
Expediting purchases direct with suppliers as required.
Tracking of the usage of stock items to assess how many of each frequently used items to safely bulk buy in order to achieve best possible price.
Using trend information to adjust min/max levels, ensuring optimum levels of stock on ERP system. Full ownership and maintenance of ERP system parameters controlling raw material ordering.
Ensuring forward planning needs monitored and orders are placed in line with relevant lead times.
Assisting vendors, warehouse and finance with purchase order, delivery note and invoicing queries.
Supporting timely data entry for import Customs operations.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

Required

You will need at least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Buyer, Material Controller or Procurement role.

Experience in manufacturing environment (Engineered systems, automotive, aerospace).

Experience using of ERP system to drive purchase order requirements and maintaining planning parameters.

Preferred

Good knowledge of NAVISION 2018 ERP system would be great advantage.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, SQL) and ability to manipulate data.

Excellent negotiation skills and good relationship building with suppliers.

Great internal and external communicator, team player.

Knowledge of INCOTERMS and import procedures.
