Care Support Worker

Seven Resourcing are looking for a number of Care Support Workers to work across the County of Norfolk. Positions can be based in either the Northern, Southern, Norwich, Eastern and Western areas of the County. These positions can offer either part-time or full-time working patterns and are paying £12.17 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company). There will be an inflated rate for nights and weekends.

The role:

To work with service users, in their own homes, as detailed in their service user plan and agreed outcomes by providing active support to enable them to live as independently as possible and take part in the activities of everyday life

To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team liaising with other professionals and services as necessary to provide the best possible care to service users and their carers

Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with personal care, washing, bathing, toileting and dressing.
* Meal preparation and monitoring fluids and food eaten.
* Administering medication
* Safe moving and positioning procedures, using hoists, stand aids etc.
* Social and recreational activities, accompanying clients to appointments.
* Shopping trips and light domestic duties.
* Observe, monitor and record clients' physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to senior staff.

Applicant Requirements:
* Qualifications: Willingness to undertake specialist training including the Care Certificate which includes Moving & Handling and administration of medication.
* Experience: 2+ years working within a care environment.
* Compliance: Current DBS check and 2 x references.
* Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
* Hours: Part-time or full-time.
