Job description

We're looking for a talented Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer to work for our client.

They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of a plant based Electrical Maintenance function.

The Role:
As the Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer you'll report to the Head of Engineering and will be primarily responsible for planned and preventative Electrical Maintenance focussing on instrumentation and controls for a high care production facility.

In the job you'll be tasked with the implementation of a continuous improvement programme aimed at delivering operational efficiencies.

Finally, you'll also be tasked with inspection, maintenance and testing in line with the agreed plans & processes.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Engineer role will have relevant experience of a plant based Electrical Maintenance function.

You'll also need experience of working with real time monitoring systems - sensors, flow meters, fill capacity, atmospheric controls etc.

Plus, it's vital that you've got experience of working in a highly regulated / safety conscious environment.

In addition, it's essential that you possess HNC / HND / degree in electrical or electronic engineering and knowledge of applicable legislation (COMAH, DSEAR, HaSaWA etc).

The Package:
Basic salary: circa £40,000 per annum for the ideal candidate
Bonus: A personal and company performance bonus is also available with the role - full details of the bonus scheme will be revealed on application
